50 Days Remaining

In fifty days I will be free from this weird cocoon of requirements I've set for myself and emerge a dusty, bug-eyed long tongued freak of nature that's only purpose is to fly thousands of miles south to have sex on a banyan tree at sunset, only to then wither to a papery leaf corpse in the hands of a small island boy ravaged by monsoons and adverse poverty. He will feed me to a stray cat only to then watch it be crushed under the wheel of a turquoise moped driven by an overweight German tourist talking on a cell phone. The remains of the cat with cook in the sun for three days until heavy flood waters carry the corpse to a coastal lagoon where it is divvied up and eaten by a small makeshift family of black tide-pool crabs. There they will live fat and happy for weeks off the rancid, waterlogged cat meat, until a bolt of lightning strikes their pool and they perish to the popping sounds of being boiled alive from the inside.

And there it is. The secret is out. That's what this project has been for all along.

The cool rain patter
atop the skylight makes a

Today's Drawing (inspired by the word "Epigram" from MW's word of the day. It's a short witty saying.)

Today's "365" Project (Make a clear version of something.  I made a spooky monster mask!)
