Been thinking a lot about upping some things for the second half of the project, or in a different vein, setting up a new system for the next year. Gasp. That's right. Emily will kill me, but I'm thinking about continuing this in some capacity. Whether it's an expansion, or a step forwards or sideways, I'm not quite sure yet. But despite the added stress and constant upkeep, I like doing this. Here's what I've got for brainstorms for the next big thing:
-No More Fasts: Instead of the fasts, I'd like to introduce a token system of some kind where I only have a set number to spend over the year. The fasting has been good in terms of keeping me aware of what I consume both physically and psychically, but the minute a day becomes a non-fast day, it quickly turns into a binge day and that's not the moderation I'm looking for. Perhaps I set some way to earn currency from people by doing things for them. Which leads me to the next option.
-Involving Others: Besides one guest artist day a month ago and some help from Emily and a few friends, this monster has been all me. And that's been good for figuring out what I can do and feeling out other stuff, but I'm ready to start collaborating. I'm reading The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer and it's got me thinking about sharing across all lines and I'd like to start having people do that with me. It'll be rough at first because I'm not great at it but I think I've got a base of people who I can pull from at the beginning.
-Monitoring Health: Running has but super fun and I love how accomplished it makes me feel, but I'm kinda killing myself doing it. I don't eat very well and my sleep is garbage. I was hoping to put in a base milage that a normal person can do and start keeping track of my sleep and good diet. I'm open to suggestions for a strength building regiment that's more thorough than the one I have now (though I'm keeping the push-ups.)
-Bigger, Shifting Projects: I'm getting into movement and character work in addition to some voice recording I've been doing in what little spare time I have and I want that to be a bigger thing. I like the "365" project for what it is, but it casts a wide net and involves mostly crafty stuff. I'm hoping to set a schedule for my own 365 things, or something like it. Still working out some kinks and may test them out in the second leg of this first project.

Haiku of the Day:
At the southern coast
of my eye, a pink tide rolls
into the steel blue

Today's Drawing (inspired by the word "Haggard" from MW's word of the day. It's one of my personal favorites and it means either wild in appearance or worn or emaciated. I prefer to appear as both definitions of this simultaneously.)
